To claim 'defensive' when declaring war on an aggressor is a valid argument. To claim it is not because of a fact-free assertion that it is deceptive is a lie because you don't know that is true. Read Rev 22, saying what you don't know for certain to be true is not a good strategy though you might win a few over to your views.
